The one rule that matters
Each puzzle is a picture drawn from curved, snake-like lines. Every line ends in an arrowhead. Tap a line and it moves head-first while the rest of the line follows the same curve. If another line crosses the head’s route to the edge, the selected line bumps back.
Your goal is to remove every line. The order matters because one line can block another, but a successful move never creates a new obstacle.
Controls
- Tap or click a curved line to move it.
- Select Hint, or press H, to highlight a line that can leave now.
- Use Sound to toggle effects.
- Use Fullscreen for a larger board.
- In Arrow Go, select the stopwatch to turn the optional timer on or off.
The puzzle games do not have a restart control because removed lines only make the board easier. Bow and Arrow is a separate archery game and does include a restart button.
How lines interact
- Read from the arrowhead toward the edge of the picture.
- The curved body follows its existing route; it does not shoot in a new direction.
- Another line crossing the head’s straight exit route blocks the move.
- A line’s own body does not block it.
- A blocked attempt is safe: the line returns to its starting position.
Beginner strategy
- Find the heads. The shape may be long, so first identify which end has the arrowhead.
- Trace each exit. Look from the head toward the edge and check whether another line crosses that route.
- Follow the blocker. If line A is blocked by B, inspect B next. Continue until you find a line with a clear exit, then work back through the chain.
- Use Hint to learn. The highlighted line shows what a valid move looks like and can be requested again without a limited allowance.
Common mistakes
- Treating the lines like single arrows. The whole curved body follows the route shown on screen.
- Looking only at the head. A blocker may cross farther along the straight exit path.
- Searching for restart. The puzzle variants intentionally do not need it; a successful move cannot make the remaining board harder.
- Forgetting saved progress. Levels are stored in your browser, so return on the same device to continue.
